Has anyone here written an article for the ANA's "Numismatist"? If so I have a couple que

I have a couple articles about to be finished, and I would like to publish these in the ANA's "Numismatist"
I'd like to have each of these articles to turn out like the ones I see every month, with lots of pictures/images intertwined around the text.

I'm just wondering how I would go about organizing my article to look similar to those in this magazine? (through Microsoft Word, another program, etc.?)
Or, does the ANA organize all of your images?

I'm just not sure how the formatting goes, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

They'll take care of formatting; they may use images you have, or they may put in their own. The most important thing for them is that the text is good. That said, they're incredibly slow on responding. The last time I sent something in, I was told it was queued for publication, and after at least a year of waiting/occasionally asking, they finally said it wasn't going to be published. Oh, well.

Kidding aside, Barbra Gregory and her staff (of one?) will layout your article. If you have suggestions, you can let them know what you would like, but they have the option to make it the way they like.

You should call her up and discuss the format she would like your article to be in. Good luck.

It's not completely done, so I don't want to jump and call them right now. I may decide to change a couple things before I'm satisfied with the final product.
