Old PCGS Holder Franklin... .Regrade??

I bought a 1950 Franklin back in 1989 graded MS63 by PCGS. It's in the old, small holder with a green label. Looks very much like a FBL example to me. Was PCGS grading Franklins with the FBL designation then? Were their grading standards more strict then or now?? Thanks!

Rattlers are a great way to cherrypick FBL, I had two upgrade.

Many feel that the grading standards at PCGS now are about as strict as they were in the rattler days. Now if it has the FULL lines you can get it designated now, where back then they did not do the attribution. May not get a grade increase but you can make a value increase as FBL coins normally sell for more.
Now all you have to do is gamble on the increase out weighing the cost.

$24 dollars and have PCGS look at it for ya... I bet you the coin is a FBL and a possible MS 64 too.
