"Auto" Or "Autograph" In Your Item Title?

"Auto" or "Autograph". Which one do you think it would be better to go with in the title of an auction? (Of course, a saavy eBayer will type in "auto*" in the search field to capture both listings; but I can't depend on the eBayer being saavy.) Thanks.

P.S. This is assuming, of course, that you can't fit both words in the item title.

You can use both, if you have room.

I generally search for "auto" in the item title and list my item titles with "auto". I use the word autograph in the item description though.

I usually go with auto mainly because they only give you so many letters in the title anyway and don't want to waste them....

I'd think you're probably fine with auto if you can't easily fit autograph in the title.... Anybody who's going to be bidding close to top dollar anyway is probably savvy enough to know to search auto or auto*.

  • I use and search auto

I've noticed "auto" attracts more views to my auctions.
