    Scans just don't have the look of a digicam pic.

    Sorry, but they just aren't as good as you will get from a digicam.

    Better however than what I will get from a digicam. While I can take nature photos with the best of them, I can't shoot a coin to save my life.

    Wow! Scans generally show detail well, but totally flatten any luster. Those are actually some of the best scans I have have seen.

    The rub on the quarter is faint and I'd say that's an AU 58

    The image of the FE is too small - but if I were to take a guess,
    I'd say its also an AU 58.

    Both nice coins.
