That might have been the case before 2004, but it is definitely not the case anymore - most of my friends that Yankees fans now obsess more over the Sox than vice versa. I thnk a lot of Red Sox fans are looking forward to the games against the Rays this year far more than the games against the Yankees.

That could be, but it's certainly not the case on these boards. You have a couple of Yankee dopes here, but most of the Yankee fans here spend very little time disparaging the Red Sox. The reverse cannot be said.
