I've seen them recently around $1300, but was only paying them peripheral attention. Can't imagine paying such a premium over melt for them, especially with the potential of a difficult to detect drill and fill.
I have one and wondered if I should wait to see if silver goes back up before trying to sell. I wish I had sold it this past summer when silver was at $20
Edit: I know mine hasn't been drilled and filled. When my grandfather died in 2003 we found 15 of these bars in his attic, some Englehard, some Johnson Mathey
Yea, I'd like to wait until silver gets to at least $15 before I sell it.
When my Grandmother found these bars, silver was somewhere around $6 I think. She decided to sell 4 of the 15 so she could give her three daughters and the eight grandkids one each. I know she regrets selling those four now, she got $475 each for them in 2003.
