Some new additions to my Dansco 7070

CrackoutCrackout Posts: 1,365 ✭✭✭✭✭
I finally got around to updating some pics of the coins in my 7070 album. The trade dollar and the Barber half are still
slabbed so they aren't in the album (I have a couple of stand-ins in their place). The newest additions are the draped
bust half cent and large cent and the classic head large cent. Now I can focus on some upgrades.

What a fine set you have there. Always enjoy seeing others 7070's.
    Nice pics too.
Is that some photo template? Did you make it?

I agree... This set has a nice look ..I think the only thing I might change are the black spots next to the Trade Dollar image

Absolutely awesome set. All that CircCam™ classic silver has my drool cup overflowing. You should be quite proud of it.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

This is a template I created in Photoshop that makes it easier to add a coin (rather than trying to take a picture of an entire Dansco page). Plus,
I can get a better individual picture of each coin.

As far as upgrades, the basic look of my set will always be the same. There are just certain coins that I want to get better examples - like the shield nickels.

And of course those two empty holes........

I guess I'm sixth or seventh to agree with this post. Upgrades would kill the continuity of your set. Start another book if you want AU-BU looks. A nice well matched set, and compliments to your photos and presentation. Well done all around.

WOW, I like the universal look. Must have been hard to find coins that looks so much alike.

That has to be the best-matched set I've seen.

I like your dark grey "CircCam" silver.

That's a set to be proud of. You have a good eye, and it shows.

PS- it might sound strange for me to say it, but I've seen AU-UNC sets that didn't have that kind of eye appeal.

I am very impressed with how well they all go together. You've built a nice set, both in terms of uniform look and in having a number of standout individual coins. That gray Oregon half, for instance, is terrific. Nice work.
