It's true: I am paying 10% over Greysheet Ask for your 1982-1989 U.S. proof sets

NOBODY PAYS YOU MORE for your 1982 through 1989 United States proof sets. I am paying 10% over current Greysheet Ask for NICE 1982 through 1989 proof sets. By nice, I mean no toning, no spotting, etc. (or very minimal). Don't have to be with boxes or cert paper. But they do have to be still sealed and intact with all 5 coins; I am not looking for rolls. I am looking to buy a total of around 100 of such sets in this range of dates. I do not have to do this all in one shot with one person. If you have just 10 you are willing to offer to me, that is okay, too.

Here's what happens:

1. You are in the United States and have 10 to 100 nice 1982 through 1989 proof sets you are willing to sell for Greysheet Ask +10%.
2. PM me with the details and I will provide an address for you to ship them to. You will ship them using your own money. Whether you choose to insure them or not is up to you.
3. I receive the sets, pick out the ones I want to buy and pay 10% over GS Ask for those.
-If I am buying none of your proof sets, I will ship them back using my own money but will not refund your cost of shipping it to me.
-If I am buying some of your proof sets and returning some, I will pay 10% over Ask for each set I am buying and will return the sets I am not buying using my own money but I will not refund your cost of shipping them to me.
-If I am buying all of your proof sets I will pay 10% over GS Ask for each one and will also refund your cost of shipping them to me.
4. I will pay you through Paypal, Cashier's Check, Money Order, or Personal Check. Whichever you wish.
5. I only have so much money set aside for this investment at this time so I cannot buy more than a total of about 100 all together between the years 1982 and 1989. I suppose a single person could ship me more than 100, but I would end up buying only a maximum of 100 and would buy a pretty even spread of the dates between 1982 and 1989.

Spread the word.

Edit to add: I do not have to do this all in one shot with one person. If you have just 10 you are willing to offer to me, that is okay, too.

Please read this thead and combine your posts into one.

Also all the proof set dealers and buyers I know will offer a buy price and buy all proof offered to them that match in the particular dates. It appears that you're cherrypicking and only selectively honoring your buy price.

My god, I sure wasted a lot of money on proof sets in the 1980s -- those prices are depressing.

For the purpose of cherrypicking the seller can lose here? I recomend you go to shows and shops and sit there and try to cherrypick there. That way no one looses any money. Dealers to dealer sales don't do what you are trying to do. And there is a chance that a switch can be made. Not that is will happen but a chance that is could would stay some off. Your statement that nobody pays more is untrue.

Cherrypicking at it's best, I have a lot of sets in those years, several years like the 82 proof set's often have problems, It has taken me quite a while to get clean sets and a clean 82 set in my opinion is worth much more than $3.85.

    Good luck on your quest....
