They are also some of the moodiest/crankiest "where's my coin????" type of buyers. Shipped next day and the PO took their sweet time but I got daily "what's the update? Where's my coin?" emails (even when answered, they just came the next day)....even though buyer was already sent all the tracking info.....
In my legal work, I have seen some of the most aggressive, dogged creditors seeking to collect defaulted loans turn into deadbeat, slow pay, no pay debtors when it comes to them paying for the goods and services that they purchase in the operation of their own businesses.

Not unlike poker in that the dudes with the most chips always have to be told to "put their blinds in" or "the action's to you". They're either counting their chips or figure they can afford to take their time. Then when someone else is slightly delinquent in their actions, oh boy, do they speak up! To keep it coin related, I use an 1882-S Morgan as my card cover.
"to you, a hero is some kind of weird sandwich..."
This isn't about paying late...but feedback is also important, and timely feedback is appreciated.
I just got a feedback from a transaction that happened mid January
I recently adopted a seller policy where I provide positive feedback immediately upon shipping. I used to wait until the buyer was satisfied and left me feedback first, but that seemed a tense situation for some folks. Most buyers seem happer getting instant feedback...but...I am getting less feedback in response and more no-shows. On the other hand, the feedback I do get seems to be helping with the Star Situation. Folks seem happy with good deals.
If only I had knew about printing labels through PayPal earlier! Sheesh!

That has always been my policy for the vast majority of buyers. That's why I'm not as concerned as some others seem to be about the feedback policy change. My buyers have never had to fear retaliation, so they've always been free to post honest feedback.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
<< <i>Powersellers.
Seriously.

Not only Powersellers, but buyers with a lot of feedback & decent track records. Most newbies pay within minutes after the close of auction.

the scam artists are too busy fleecing the unknowing victims to pay you on time.

LOL. I agree, they figure they can ride on reputation and "stars". But, they always pay, so to me it's no biggie as long as I know it's comin

Reminds me of the movie Casablanca when Captain Renault says to Rick; ...."I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here."
BTW my favorite quote from the movie, also by Capt Renault: "How extravagant you are, throwing away women like that. Some day they may be scarce."
I just got a feedback
