I'm going to Vegas next week -- any decent shops worth checking out?

If they still have slot machines that use coins, play the slots. Bound to be some numismatic stuff in there. image

Slot machines will often damage coins' surfaces and chances are you will not want to hold on to any coin that is dispensed from a slot machine.

There are several coin shops scattered around the valley and plenty of pawn shops where you may find a few nice coins. Once you arrive in town check the yellow pages for coin shop location details. There is only one coin shop located on the Strip, and that shop is located inside the Riviera Hotel Casino.

    Sahara Coins. A+
  • Sahara Coins...
  • Sahara coins is the only one I have found. They have a pretty decent selection of both slabbed coins and bullion, however their prices are easily beaten on the internet.
