Hey Guys, I found a 1962 Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris movie at my local Dollar store, it's called Safe at home and it's 84 minutes long.
I didn't even know they made a movie together, The Dollar store I went to had some pretty cool stuff, This box was hidden like alot of the other stuff I find. I go once in awhile the lasttime I went I found an unopened case of 1994 & 1997 upper decks for $1. a box I took home two cases for $36, I found other items in the past which did really well on Ebay, vintage Babe Ruth movies on DVD, and a VHS movies of Jim Thorpe & Lou Gehrig, Dizzy Dean & Joe Louis. They have about 20 of them well hidden, Rather than buy one video, I picked up 10 Any board member intrested in a VHS movie just need to PM me, If all sell I'll go get the remaining movies.
New and unopened $6. includes shipping.
I picked up these for $1. each, because they had a cool figureine and a trading card. I thought I'd buy a set just for fun. They have a few more.

Safe at Home" is a nostalgic visit to the '60s when the New York Yankees were champs and Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle were swatting homeruns. This is a sappy story of a young little leaguer who pursues his heroes in Spring training. Where else but in Florida in 1962 do you see women attend baseball games wearing hats and donning white gloves? I loved it for its innocence and the way it captured Florida at that time. William Frawley plays his role to a tee, as the grumpy senior with a heart of gold. Watch this in a double feature along with Billy Crystal's great film "*61" if you really want a kick.
