    MC (miscut)
Type of qualifier. A card that has little or no border, or even portions of another card. Cards with a factory miscut, such as a diamond cut, or when another card's image is on the original card will be designated MC.

I believe MG stands for minimum grade--Did you indicate you want a minimum grade on that card?

It was not my card. I was looking up a card from 4SC and decided to see how many 9's in a row they pulled off.
I was at about 25 in a row before the 'MG' came up.

I thought Minimun Grade was only for cross-overs?

  • it means the card was submitted with a minimum grade indicated but did not meet the MG, so it was unholdered.

you can indicate a "MG" for any card you submit, not just crossovers.
