Interesting error I found.

There is what I find to be a interesting error in one of our leading references. On page 334 of the "Red Book" It list the First Souse $10 Gold Bullion Coins as Quarter-Ounce 24-Karet Gold.
I think most of us reallize these are Half Ounce coins. But I thought it was interesting and it gave me a reason to post this again.

I'm still waiting on them to get the reverse of the Burnished 2006 W Unc Platinum correct.
RedBook is worthless for information on any modern coinage in the last 3-4 years, IMHO.

I would suggest that the U.S. Mint has made a mockery of our hobby and the redbook can't keep up with the mocking that's taken place. Does anyone remember a couple years ago... The RedBook was in cahoots with the U.S. Mint by listing the 2001 Kennedy Half as having a value of ten dollars in MS65 ?
I will not forget the mockery. NEVER... I even kept that book for keepsakes.
On the flipside, the RedBook is invaluable for many other things, most of which I find appealing.
Hurry, get your 2001 Kennedy halves from the mint before the price jumps up. (anyone notice they actually dropped the price on those coins ? I did
