1957d Franklin need help, die chip, grease......Benjamin folks.......Ms Lucy, you home??

Picked up 4 Benjamins on the bay last week, his is the part I like best, $17.25 total cost. Can't retire just yet but for some reason
it's the small wins that make me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Anyhoo, today I'm taking pics and looking at my treasure. Pulled out the loop and this is what I saw on top of the R in TRUST,

neat huh??

Fair amount of luster under skin and I'm thinking MS65...............................................okay..................................MS64.

What say the Benjamin experts?

1st, 64, you may get lucky and 65. Hard to see the bell lines, but appears to be fbl at pcgs and non-fbl at ngc. It's not worth slabbing as that is a common date/condition. 2nd, 62-3, assuming that's die polish, not cleaning. It appears to be polish as there are cross strokes right above GOD WE. Hard to see the bell lines, but could fbl at pcgs. It's non-fbl at ngc. Actually, 63-P fbl's are tough cookies to find, so while it's not worth slabbing that's a good'un. 3rd, 61-2, non-fbl. For what you paid for all 3 you did very well.
  • Skyman thanks !

I don't do the slabbing thing, can't figure out the paper work..image

Can you tell me your opinion on the 57d, what is going on above the R in TRUST ?
