PSA/DNA Autographed Team Basketball Question

If I send in a team signed basketball for grading, am I correct that it will cost about $200? I think I understand that you take the price of the "big star" on the ball, and add the total number of autos, and it almost always seems to be about that price. Has anyone used this service before? Do you trust sending a very expensive ball, several thousand dollars worth, through the mail to PSA? I have done tons of cards but a piece of memorabilia seems different...

  • Sorry about that.

But yes, I believe that is how it would work. As for sending a high $ item, I would trust it with Registered mail. I sent about $35,000 in autographs a little over a month ago. I have done high value items a few times without any problems (besides waiting 2 weeks for PSA to log my stuff into the system.
    Thanks

For registered mail, do you declare a value and insure, or is it already insured? Say for about $6000 worth?
