Sacramento Coin Show This Weekend

Beginning this Friday, John McIntosh is once again putting on his very famous Sacramento Coin Show. The show is supposed to be a three day show at the Red Lion Inn at 1401 Arden Way adjacent to the Arden Fair Mall. All of John's shows have been very well attended to the point of overcrowding, so I don't expect this show to be any less.

I will be there at least one, and possibly two of the days. Is anybody else planning to go?

    I will not be in town so I will not be there this time, but if I was around this weekend I would definitely be there.

    Anybody have information or history on the Peninsula Coin Club 28th Annual Coin & Collectibles Show in San Jose at NAPREDAK HALL?
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The Peninsula Coin Club show is this Sunday 11/11/07 at Napradek Hall in San Jose. Napradek Hall is located at 770 Montague Expressway, San Jose, CA. Show hours are from 10am to about 4pm. I will not have a table at this show.

    My first coin show since the late 1970's and my son's first ever.

    The show opens at 10 in the morning and goes on until about 6pm. Anybody else going?

    Stop by and say hi to Tim at Folsom Coins who will be at the show all 3 days. I will be keeping the shop fires burning Friday and Saturday but will be walking around on Sunday a bit on the day off.

    This is an excellent show with lot's of collectors and good material for it's size. We have added quite a few nice coins from an old time collection we were fortunate to buy very recently. For it's size this show always seems to result in a few nice coins being found, and a great group of dealers willing to buy as well. Check it out if you can and join in the fun.

    I was thinking of driving up from the Bay Area on Saturday. How's the selection of currency? Worth the one hour + drive there and back?
