Paper money guy with a coin question...Sort of...

I was digging through some of my stuff the other day and ran across these. I picked them up back in the early 1980's directly from this long since defunct Gold Standard Corporation. The founder of this company, Conrad J. Braun actually has had a pretty colorful history and at the time these coins were produced gold was hot as well as much talk of a return to a "gold standard" in the U.S...
Interesting blurb about the Gold Standard Corporation
Anyway, I have this prototype proof set that I purchased from Gold Standard Corporation around 1982. By my reckoning, there is around 2.4 ounces of gold in the set. The largest coin says 1 Troy Ounce, then 1 Ounce, then 10 Gold Grams, then 5 Gold Grams...

My question is this. Can anyone share any information with me about these? Do they have any collector value above and beyond melt value? I wasn't sure if this was the right place to post this inquiry but I don't see any forums on Collectors Universe related to medallions and tokens so I thought I would take a shot at it here with the hope that some old timers might have seen these before and might know something about them...
Edited to add:
Sorry about the poor pics but I couldn't get the set to scan and I'm a complete spaz with a digital camera...Also edited for the estimated amount of gold in the set.

Generally hard to sell retail because they are not widely known, and the gold is .980 fine. When we get them in I put them out at retail until our next gold burn, and then burn them if they do not sell. I usually always burn them.

Thanks for the response Capt...Have you ever handled any of the proof sets like this one or have you just seen the bullion coins that Gold Standard Corporation was cranking out back in the early 1980's?...

Anyone else?...Bueller?...Bueller?...
I figured someone here (especially dealers) must have seen these before...
