Now may be a good time to buy Pandas as they markets in China go pop.
Gold is very popular in China and so are the Panda coins.

I knew it would happen.

I don't know about the Chinese but, I would consider it divine justice.

What's to say that isn't already happening in China?

If only we could get leaders who weren't so eager to sell their own country out and more citizens who cared enough to stop feeding the monster in the basement.

The problem is they would pay for them with Trade Dollars.

<< <i>If you counterfiet American goods in China, there's no problem, but I think the Chinese goverment might take issue with you cranking out fake pandas. >>
Chinese counterfeiters have been punching these for years.
Separating the genuine from the counterfeit is not worth the effort.
Avoid all coins from China espectially Trade Dollars and Pandas.

Why does that look like a PCGS holder?
I used to buy the silver pandas, but they have moved too far away from spot for me to get them now. My friend bought a gold panda in china a couple of years ago for just over spot. It seemed a lot cheaper than if he got it here in the states.
in the late 1970's. My interest is primarily in their ancients and moderns. The ancients
haven't done much yet but it feels like they're on the verge of a large move. These are
mostly common and are available all over the world. There are books available on these
but I believe none have been translated yet. Their classic coinage has been widely collected
for many decades. There are numerous scarcities in these but they are mostly well known.
No doubt, many are underappreciated. The moderns are some of the most remarkable
coins in a world full of remarkable moderns. The Pandas and lunar coins have done very
well and could improve a lot going forward. The circulating moderns have yet to do much.
Many of these are very difficult to locate and there is virtually no demand anywhere. One
suspects some of these could experience explosive gains.

I love the Panda's and have a complete set, but I also worry about the source as so many are fake!

<< <i>Who knows though, China may end up being the biggest hinderance to the Islamist juggernaut since the west is determined to roll over and play dead so that no one will dislike us. I doubt it though. >>
China has more than it's share of Islamo fascist problems in their western provinces, but you won't be reading about it in the newspapers.
We could take a few lessons from them on how they deal with it.
