We need a photo. Or feel free to send it to me for evaluation/photography. I (and others here too) have looked at hundreds of these and would be glad to offer an opinion. --Jerry
NGC arbitrarily bag coins for random reasons when they fall behind (turnaround time and/or revenue.) At least when ANACS does the same its always for invisible/non-existent PVC residue.
Another reason PCGS is #1 in my book. Sometimes I disagree with them but I always understand why they bagged it.

And, you can PROVE that NGC does that? Or, you just think they do because you didn't like a result you had on a submission?

The same happened to me with this coin. I sent it to PCGS and NGC and they both bagged it for damage/tooling. It came from a roll out of a sealed CWI#103 brick dated January 03, 2007 so I doubt the coin could have been tampered with:

I'm not the first person to say that. And I don't have to prove anything to you. >>
You're right, you don't have to.....but without proof, your credibility (not that you had any) goes to zilch and you are just another anonymous loudmouth on the internet spouting off. It's one thing to disagree with grading and still another to claim, and state, that something akin to illegal is going on with someone's business.
FLBuffaloHunter.... got a few of them out of sealed bricks that looked just like that. Posted pics way back - no one knew what it was (not sintered, but odd surface).

That is the most far-fetched comment I have ever heard! I bet you like the grape Koolaid the best!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

I guess. He didn't specify. But it's definitely not a coin with the edge ground down.
