Can a "Loss Pedigree" coin ever get it back with PCGS?

Back when ICG issued 2,500 Goodacre Sacagaweas, ICG was the only grading service that was contracted to do so, one was purchased and removed from its holder. Recently the coin was certified by PCGS but lost its pedigree as it was submitted raw without ICG's insert/slab.
Now, unlike First Strike silver eagles that would loose that designation of First Strike if popped out of the slab and then regraded down the road, Goodacres were specially burnished by the Mint and look and appear much different from regular struck small dollars of 2000.
I ask, as I am offering this PCGS MS68 2000 "Goodacre" Sacagawea on eBay.
Would it be possible to solicit via PCGS for its pedigree back simply based on the look of the coin rather than the ICG insert?
(I present this dilemna here, on the Buy Sell Trade forum rather than the Coin Forum as I am selling this coin on eBay.)

If I win I'll let you know.
Never view my other linked pages. They aren't coin related.
Either way, pretty for what it is and I suppose someone's in for a bargain because of its loss pedigree.

If that is the coin, look close at the tailfeathers. It looks like a Cheerios Sacagawea.
That begs the question, what about the more scarce unburnished Goodacre dollars? How could you possibly tell?

Interesting. I returned one Goodacre for replacement when they were being offered for $200.00, because the finish was ordinary and not burnished. I wanted the Goodacre "look" because without being in the ICG slab, it was essentially an unc Sac. I don't even know what the unburnished Goodacres sell for now, but I still impart more significance to the special finish. I didn't check the tailfeathers on that coin - I am not sure that I was even aware of the Cheerios dollars at that time.
Oh, Larry - I sold you one of my Goodacres awhile back - I hope that you found it a good home. Now, I'm down to two. Regards, jmski.
I knew it would happen.
