Ebayers vs. forum members( please read)

Over the past few months I've been buying coins and mints sets from here and ebay and I wanted to say I have had better luck and fewer problems when the seller is a member of these forums. There seems to be a higher level of integrity and sense of fair play here.
I just want to say a big THANK YOU.

I prefer to deal with members here than on EBAY...plus its nice to save the usorious fees EBAY/Paypal charge.

My advice is that all members use PayPal for payments until a report is developed with the other members. And do not be surprised if some of us only want to deal that way. The other thing is don't be surprised if some one asks for references. I would also caution that if a person does not have there profile filled out and PM enabled use caution in initial dealings.
Good luck to all in the pursuit of the hobby
<< <i>OK I will be the dark horse on this. Most of the people here are great to deal with. But I have had the bad experience of having to get the cops and other members to help track down a dead beat that I bought coins from and did not deliver.

Not the first time something like that with that person but I just chalk it up to someone I won't bother dealing with again and I move on.
The rest have all been
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I have found though, dealing with forum members on ebay, that has not always been the case. On 3 occasions within the last 2 month I've run across members who like to "Ebay describe" their listings, omitting things that IMO should have been pointed out. Yes I know buyer beware, buy the coin not the plastic....... blah, blah, blah, but I hold forum members to a higher standard then non-forum folks, and I do take notes...
