wtb - 2007 Twins Team-issued (3 of) 4-player, 16-card set

I read in the May 4th Sports Collectors Digest about a MN Twins and Upper Deck-issued 4-player, 16-card team set. It was given away at the Metrodome from April 12 to April 15. The set, according to the SCD article, included #s 1-4 Torii Hunter, 4-8 Johan Santana, 9-12 Justin Morneau and 13-16 Joe Mauer.

Does anyone have these cards available to sell or trade??

8/7/07 update: I was able to get the Morneau set from envoy98. My eBay search still hasn't turned any other sets up for sale.

I'd sure appreciate any leads on how to get one of these sets -- if they're not TOO expensive. I've got a brother living in Mounds View, but he's not a card collector so I'm not sure he'd be of much help...

Interestingly enough, there is a show at the Mounds View shopping center this weekend. It's haunted almost exclusively by Twins collectors/dealers. If there is a set to be found, someone there will have it.

Really?! What a coincidence! Hope you can track down a lead for me, or at least find out what these'll cost me if and when my search finds something on eBay.

Mike, I found a Morneau and Mauer set. They are $15 each. I only picked up the Morneau set for you in case that was too steep. I found 2 Mauer and one Morneau set, that was it. Apparently the Santana and Hunter sets were sold out this morning, I was too late I guess.

Let me know if you want the Morneau set I picked up for you and if you want me to go back and get a Mauer set.

I thought the price seemed a little steep so I only got the one for you. If you don't want it, I'll keep it.

Anyone have any scans of these or know where I could find some pics online? I want to get the Johan Santanas and possibly the others in the set but haven't seen them on Ebay or anywhere unless I'm looking for the wrong thing.

I've been monitoring eBay, too, for these cards and nothing has popped up. It may take a while. There were 10,000 sets distributed of each of the 4 players, so there's gotta be some out there someplace!

With "Thanks!" to Josh, I'm now the proud owner of set # 3 (Morneau) of 4. I still haven't seen any of these sets being offered on eBay. If anyone has any leads on the other three 4-card sets, please let me know!

Unfortunately the set came in a wrapper and I'm one who can hold onto stuff without opening it. This'll be hard to resist, though. If I do open it, I'll post some scans.

Thanks, Josh. With 10,000 sets made, I can't believe any aren't being sold. I'm hoping to make a trip home to MN in September and I'll be looking high and low to complete this set!

Crip. I never had time while in 'Sota to look for these cards -- had too good of a time visiting and partying with family and friends!

With the season winding down, I hope someone offers some of these sets for sale...
