Added an 1813 to the album

The other day TomB sent me a PM telling me that he had an 1813 that I might be interested in. I already had an 1813 that I had purchased from Stu Keen a while back but figured I would upgrade it if the right coin came along. Well the coin that Tom sent was exactly what I was waiting for. So what do you think of her?

The only problem with having two was that they were both the same overton #. If they were different die varieties I might have kept the coin but since they were the same it was better just to sell the other to fund this one.

I'll be the first to admit that I know nothing about this series. Was the first coin cleaned? If not, I think I like the first one better. I can't even read "Liberty" on the obverse of the upgrade coin while the first was crisp and clear. Just my opinion, but like I said I know nothing about this series at all. The first one just looked like better detail

The upgrade is definitely the nicer of the two coins. The upgrade coin is a little higher grade and much more original then the first. The first coin had probably been cleaned at one time but there were no hairlines. From the pics it may appear that the upgrade coin does not have full LIBERTY but it in hand in does. I really appreciate your opinion, Joe.
