The seller is a piece of work. He's our friend who made the Golden Silver Collection. An entire set of AT'd modern commems he managed to get holdered in PCGS plastic.
I met him, he's a nice guy. Even gave me a coin out of that collection.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

I remember that. That was crazy. Fried 'em right? Then just kept sending them in until they came back graded.
Truth is that his policies wouldn't stop me from bidding if he had something I wanted. On eBay, I pretty much assume that most Power Sellers have the same attitude but just don't have the nads to post it in their auction.

No, it's not. I've met the seller.

Yeah isn't it a hassle when buyers become educated and want more pics and want to ask questions, heck they actually expect some kinda service for being willing to send there money and hoping to get exactly what they thought they were buying. The nerve.

I don't know. It's pretty blunt and seems like poor service, but I can sympathize.
I'm selling some GW FDCCs on eBay right now. My auctions all clearly state that I ONLY accept PayPal. I've had four people ask me if they could send me a money order. The first words in my auction (and in my title) indicate that the sets are still in their unopened white mailers. I've had six people ask me if the sets were unopened.
Once I sold a 55 gallon aquarium on eBay using BIN. The first words in the auction, in large, bold letters were "LOCAL PICKUP ONLY" one person bought it, paid for it, then asked me to let him know when it shipped. After setting him straight, I relisted it, and yet another person bought it, paid for it, then asked me to ship it to them.

I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."
Actually...he has changed his "sales pitch" a little ... when I last saw a listing by this seller ... he also added "I'm much too lazy" ... I ended up bidding on a few of his coins ... got no invoice...paid for coins... got no email but a few days later the coins showed up as described with no problems.
Hey folks ... I've heard many on this forum say that the simpler a listing the better ... No bells ... No whistles... No frills ...
Maybe he read this on this forum and took it REAL seriously ...
Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free

Well, since he's up-front about his deep concern for his customers anybody who bids knows what to expect.

<< <i>$190.00? What has he been smoking? >>
That is high. But, at least it's just a sticker on the slab and not the opening price.

True. If he is looking for that kind of money, he needs to stick it in the BIN section and hope some bidiot comes along and snags it.
Funny description though....
His reply: I'm very sorry. I just don't have the time. Thanks for asking.

Apparently, they like getting fewer bids and less money for the coins they sell off.

Problem is he has something I might want.
Yeah I bid but not as much as he would of liked.

Well, at least he's polite!

their listings. Some of them are GREAT sellers.
They are simply tired of dealing with the recent rash
of horrible buyers on EBAY.

BAD PICTURES.....NO BID
NO RETURN..........NO BID
NO QUESTIONS....NO BID
Perhaps I have been lucky, but all of the sellers
I have dealt with have been more then helpful, polite
and most pleasant.
