NEWPS: All raw, many colorful, lots of pics.

It took me a while to get caught up on shooting all of these. They came from a variety of sources, ranging from local to Ebay.

Most aren't exceptionally high grade, and nothing overly rare (except maybe the one from Dimitri); I bought most for their color, character, or originality.

First a few from board members:

Ionian Islands 1/2 Obol, 1819. From Dimitri. Lovely purple color. A few rim nicks on the obverse, but nothing too obtrusive.

Spain 2 Centimos, 1870. Got this one from BlackHawk. Nice array of color!

And the rest:

Canada 1 Cent, 1928. Deep purple-brown.

imageimage

Canada 5 Cents, 1909. Deep blue... unfortunately I missed the scuffs on Edward's head. image

imageimage

Austria Florin, 1879. Nice peripheral bits of color.

imageimage

Austria Florin, 1888. Ditto.

imageimage

Baden 1/2 Gulden, 1838. Deep, almost black steel toning.

imageimage

Germany 50 Pfennig, 1876 H. Deep gold toning, almost turning bronze in a few places.

imageimage

Great Britain 1d, 1863. A date I didn't already have.

imageimage

Wurttemberg 3 Marks, 1912 F.

imageimage

Spain Peseta, 1896. Great obverse! Reverse = meh.

imageimage

Papal States 10 Soldi, 1867. Cute little silver piece with champagne toning.

imageimage

Netherlands 1 Cent, 1878. Common piece but quite lustrous.

imageimage

Netherlands 1 Cent, 1876.

imageimage

Germany 20 Pfennigs, 1874 A. A little bit o' rainbow on this circulated piece.

imageimage

Mexico 8 Reales, 1894 CnAM.

imageimage

Colombia 10 Centavos, 1920. I like the deep gunmetal appearance of this piece.

imageimage

Bavaria 3 Marks, 1911 D. Extremely crusty!

imageimage

Schwarzburg-Rudolfstadt Thaler, 1867. Nice obverse color. Only 13,000 minted!

imageimage

Bavaria 2 Marks, 1911 D. More color!

imageimage

Denmark 1/5 Skilling, 1814. Tiny little copper piece. Love the die breaks and broken planchet.

imageimage

Philippines 10 Centavos, 1944 D. Cheap little coin, but I just love the color!

imageimage

Denmark 2 Skilling, 1810. I fell in love with the NGC MS66 that I had bought a while back, so when I saw this one and the next piece, I just had to have them. Between the color and the deteriorated die state, what's not to love?

imageimage

Denmark 2 Skilling, 1811. Nice cud!

imageimage

Baden 2 Marks, 1906. One of the nicest examples of color I've bought in a long time. Just marvelous.
