Can anybody enlighten me as to who commissioned the Viking ship privy marked set of 2001 Maple Leafs and for what purpose?

Thanks for the comeback, Troyozau. I had found that citation in my Google search. Isn't it odd that just six years after the issue of a modern coin set from a popularly collectoted country, not even the specialist catalogers seem to know the scoop?
