These will be going to the slab factory this week...

Turning these over among others to a TPG at the ANA show this week.....

Not sure exactly which TPGs I might use but probably two different ones, got 15 coins total at the moment, minus something I may find at the show image

If you plan on selling the coins, I wouldn't recommend NGC for the Newfie coins. PCGS is probably the way to go for those.

No near term plans to sell, will have to ask you this weekend what the 'diff' would be, if I remember image

What? You don't like wacko George III? He wasn't so insane in 1787.

Love the Ionian piece and the 1896 Newfie!

Unless you think the 1844 1/2 Farthing will make 65 or it's the E/N variety (can't tell from the photo) I'm not sure the value of the piece is worth the slabbing cost. These are ultracommon. I sat on a bright red BU for over 6 months in my Ebay Store before it finally sold for $22.

Unless you're slabbing it simply for your own collection. image

Hey, just a bunch of beautiful coins!

The 1896 Newfie has to be my favorite because of:

    uniform, almost even toning
but with some lighter areas and luster to set it off,
    attractive classic design,
    beautiful surfaces
    and perfect rims.

    I once knew a woman like that...image

Edited to add: and the Bosses invitation doesn't hurt your chances one bit!image

Pretty soon, we'll be able to submit coins to PCGS for ourselves or anyone else once we become authorized dealers.

Just sent our application earlier this year. Can you put a rush on it, Ron? <nudge nudge> image
