SSP- First major revision to website is now live...giveaway winner posted

We launched the site on May 1st, 2006 with approximately 300 products, and are now up to 2,600+ and adding new content on a weekly basis. Today we launched our first major revision of the site: among the new features are a live precious metals pricing feed, the ability to run time sensitive specials, information on our local coin club (which we are getting off the ground, slowly but surely) and better search field capabilities. Constructive critisism is invited and welcome, and if you made it this far and want to respond to this post, I will enter your name for a giveaway image.

Yeah, throw my name in the hat.

Edited to add: I took a look at your site. Very nice. I only browsed it, but what I viewed looked like a professional site.

    Thanks,

  • I also took a look but your South African coinage is a bit too modern for me.

    Nice site though. image

I like the site, but had a comment - some text overlaps the yellow navigation strip to the right of the screen:

    image

It looks a bit off to me. I'm using IE 6.

P.S. Would love to win something, too image

  • Very nice site, just one minor comment - it would be nice to see a count of the number of products found by the search feature

Add my name to the giveaway hat please

Edited to add - text looks fine with Firefox

I clicked on the "Precious Metals Pricing" and it did not show anything.

The site looks nice! Great layout, easy to navigate, etc, etc.

I had no problems with layer overlaps or anything else in Opera 9.10.

Any thought to putting the silver content of coins right on the page?

Everything looks good on my end. No overlap or funky things happening. Firefox V. whatever the current one is.

Very nice design. Professional looking and really not hard to read at all. I like it.

Look, feel and content all look just fine on my computer, but the precious metals pricing page was similarly blank....

Nice site. I've looked at it before after doing web searches for certain coins, but never put 2 and 2 together in regards to you owning it.

About once a week, my 3 year old will say "Daddy, Daddy, can we look at coins with animals on them"???

So, off to blackmountaincoins.com we go! image

    A very nice site!!

Only comment on format ... I generally don't like having to use the horizontal scroll bar to go from left to right on a web page. With my FireFox v 2.0.0.2 and 17" monitor, I have to on your site.

Nice looking site but the search option did not list any German coins when I searched with the word German nor with Germany (At least after going through 8 pages of other items listed). So I typed in Prussia and found a few listings and all of them have the word German in the title... image
Unfortunately, I have all the pieces listed on your site but I will check back again later when I can spend a little more time doing a little better search since I now know you do have some German coins available.
Thanks for the entry and giveaway! Rick
