    considering that the coins have been buried in the dirt and plowed over a few times, I doubt the tweezers are going to hurt them

    Maybe, maybe not. I sure can't tell from the picture what those are made of, but they look a lot like the plastic ones of various sizes that my Beautiful Bride had in her toolbox before she retired as a Hughes Aircraft electronics assembler. image
