Greenish is better than black, which is how I find some of them, or worse, harshly cleaned. The tropical climate is tough on those old coins. Copper ones look even worse.

Well, first let me express my chagrin that I photographed the coin's obverse upside down.
I think that the only reason I was able to obtain this coin is that the vendor lives probably less than 5 miles from me. When his fixed price list came out, I may have been the first to receive it in the mail. In fact, he told me that I was the first person to respond to the new list.
Most of my other fixed list vendors seem to be in California, so I am not an earlier recipient, here in New York.

Maybe an acetone bath would help, looks like PVC poison from the location and color.
