My 1770 1/2d, NGC MS64 BN PL was the highest graded PL in the series... until now. 
NEN has an MS65 RD PL. Must be a recent slabbing. I bet it looks much nicer in hand than the pics.
I'd love to own this one but (1) It's already sold, and (2) it's more than 10x what I paid for mine (which wasn't cheap).

Your's is purty, very nice blue!
From what I can see, on technical merits, I'll take the blue one because it's smoooooooth, and has no carbon specks; the other does.
Yours would also appear to have a better strike, especially at the rims (no dentils on the red one).
So, there's my 4 haypennies....och!!!!

I find it interesting though, that both the RD and my BN show clear evidence of denticles, whereas yours is almost completely void of them...
