Ponterio Sale: 1948 GB Proof Set Price

Does anybody know what lot 827, the 1948 Great Britain proof set went for in the Ponterio sale last night? These seem to go for mixed prices, that is late British non-standard year proofs.

<< <i>7500 to the book, with a very disappointed furry white puppy as the underbidder. This was a huge price. Keep in mind that puppies have little respect for money. >>
Puppies, above all other creatures, believe savings are repugnant. More biscuits for Aki, please.
<< <i>The 1948 set went for 7500 plus commission! That would be low by Australian standards, pretty high for UK. >>
Wow-- that's a lot of dough for modern crap.
