Are these in the correct price range? NT or AT. (please don't say AT)

Beautiful coins - I desire them greatly.

Pretty set and well taken photos, but lighting makes all the differenceimage
  • Nice - I love mouldy maundies too. image
The meaning of life ? I don't know but I am sure that coins have something to do with it.

  • If you really like maundy sets, check out the set I have on telegrade up for grabs today.

Beautiful rainbow toning across the board.

  • that's the one. thanks for posting it.

I think I have the original red maundy presentation box to go with it somewhere, but teletrade wouldn't deal with it. Must be worth 10 bucks or so, right?

The original case is worth at least $10.

As nice as that Ebay set is, I think it's grossly overpriced. I would think that it might go $350 in a real auction. The toning looks natural to me. I've seen many such sets with nice toning like that, though maybe not as intense.

Edit to add: You know, if I owned that set I'd list it for a ridiculous price, too ... because I wouldn't really want to sell it unless I could make a killing on it image

  • I bought mine raw in the presentation box, sent it to ngc where they slabbed it 65 and frankly think they undergraded it. Oh well, let's see what happens today on teletrade...

I bought a nicely toned 1917 set that was graded NGC MS65, 66, 66, 67 for just at $140. Just waiting for it to arrive. Once I get them I'll post pics, but from what I could tell from the pics posted they were pretty nicely toned. I'd say that price is terribly high.
    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.
  • my set did well tonite on teletrade.

but I will say, the purchaser will be extremely pleased with it, because of the great toning and conservative grading they did
