What could I get for $30 in ancient Roman coins?

I'm looking for some ancient Roman coins to buy for a 10 yo kid. He got a book on Roamn coins for Christmas. What might I look for?

You could get several bronzes. I could sell you a bag of more than a dozen for that much, but they would be unattributed. (Of course if the kid has a book he might have fun trying to attribute them- I just haven't had the time and I am still a semi-novice with ancients).

Or you could buy 3-5 nicer attributed bronzes.

Or a silver denarius, even.
