    1. It's cool, you should make plans to attend one.
    2. Different for each show.
    3. Different for each show. There are usually sections of the bourse that are set aside for Darkside only but you can find a DS coin anywhere at the show, you just never know where one will pop up.
  • Thanks Cladiator!

Can any1 post a picture of whats inside a Coin show.

There are about 350 tables....maybe 25 to 30 ancient and foreign. I went yesterday, first area I went to was world coins

I went to Karl Stephans first ( and an early bird payor at that) but was third in line Still came away with some nice slabbed coins, mostly above Krause by 10%.

With the weakness in the $ and choiceness of the coins, I did not care.

Did you know he is a PCGS grader? He is. I also bought from Tony Fein ( a choice PCGS AU 58 Thaler) and a Polish gold piece from the 18th century in au 55.

I got a a little education from him while discussing coins. ( for example) The Krause term of 'UNC' would apply to MS 63 to 64 grades. Above that, the prices in Krause in UNC are not representative so choicer specimans command more.

Had a interesting discussion withdealer Alex Hager too. Says to buy Canada and Great Britain.

No FUN for me this year but I am gonna try for Atlanta in the spring.

OK, who still has the pics of me crashed out on the couch, snoring, after a long day at FUN 2004?

Dang sneaky Darksiders with camera phones! image

I saw a monster PCGS Sp 67 and 68 5 piece set of Canada 1882H ( with the gold). ...Price: $125,000.

    Certainly the finest.

    image at Terry.

Zarit never gave me or Cathy return feedback after our semi-humorous, taunting positives we left him.

  • Thanks TwoKopeiki.

I would really love to go.

Since I live in Kuwait and still in the educational status so its kind of difficult. Maybe when I move to University then I could check one out.

I'm hoping to do Biotech image

It would've been better if I'd still had the Holey Coin Vest on. With the Holey Gold Hat sliding down over my drooling face, perhaps.

I erased the snoring noises from my cell phone about a year ago..... image
  • I'd like to see that picture of the drooling Lord. image

I say we vote - we can vote either for or against. Obviously I vote 'for'.

Also what happend with Zarit ?

I bought a nice ZAR 1874 Penny from him for a nice price about a half year to a year ago. Nice transaction. He left feedback. No probs.
The meaning of life ? I don't know but I am sure that coins have something to do with it.

If I'm not mistaken Zarit told Rob he looks like an idiot in his holey coin vest.

"NICE coin! Guess I'll forgive you for calling me an idiot at the 2004 FUN. ;-)
    Buyer lordmarcovan( 676) "

    " Great coin/as pictured-Thank you! !!!!!!!! (Didn't you like Lord M's vest?)

Looks like he has run into a couple of yucky bidders since then. He may be lacking (or too strong) in the personality department, but I, and many others, can vouch for his coins. I've bought a few and been Quite Happy With Them, but must admit to not being able to resist tweaking him over the 'LordM incident'. If he even thinks of it, he must think I'm nuts.
