Oh NO, another ASE thread...

I've got 2 sets. They do not qualify as 1st. strike
but would qualify as 20th Anniv.
Question is:
Keep in the box?
Send them in for grading?
Open and enjoy?
Thanks; jws

Barndog, I like the way you think. Happy Holidays. jws
I say send them both in for the crapshoot at the 70. The upside outweighs the downside, since you're already in the money anyway. If you get a 70, cha ching! If you don't, think of it not as "money lost" in grading fees, just "not as much profit realized" overall. Sell the highest grades, and keep a set for yourself to break open and look at now and then.
Just remember, that is normal for me.

Depends on why you bought them. For profit, or for yourself. If for profit, send them both in, unopened, for grading and sell the one set you dont want. If for personal pleasure, open and enjoy. Simple as that.
