A nicely toned 1965 Canadian Dollar

Somewhat unusual tone on this one. Usually you'll find this color on a 1967 Dollar or a .5000 silver cased dollar. Not so common on 1965 coins.

Very nice. One of the best toned Can. Dollars I've seen. There are some really ugly ones out there.

I have seen people put a few older dollars in the .500 silver dollar cases and set them aside to tone. Yours looks like the result of one such experiment. image

  • Are these toned dollars hard to come by? I saw one that was decently toned at a show a few years back for $3 and thought nothing of it. I found it to be attractive.
