A nicely toned 1965 Canadian Dollar

Somewhat unusual tone on this one. Usually you'll find this color on a 1967 Dollar or a .5000 silver cased dollar. Not so common on 1965 coins.

    Very nice. One of the best toned Can. Dollars I've seen. There are some really ugly ones out there.

    I have seen people put a few older dollars in the .500 silver dollar cases and set them aside to tone. Yours looks like the result of one such experiment. image

    Are these toned dollars hard to come by? I saw one that was decently toned at a show a few years back for $3 and thought nothing of it. I found it to be attractive.
