    Ha, Ha! Very funny people, especially you LM and spinaker. FYI, NEN didn't image the coin.

    Mac is correct. It is an Aussie 1958 1d NGC PF63 RB which, I am told, is mainly red.

    NEN didn't image the coin.

    I have all the respect in the world for you, oh aged mushroom. You have done what I have never been able to do, i.e. buy a coin off the internet without at least seeing an image of same...

    I believe that translates into NEN's solid reputation and your ongoing relationship with them but maybe more for the fact that their coins in hand seem to be nicer than their images and your subsequent lower offer being accepted (due to their non-imaging).image

    The only problem with NEN is that if you ask them for a picture--you get it in a day or so, but then they POST IT ON THE WEBSITE SO EVERYONE ELSE CAN LOOK AT IT TOO. The nerve image.

    aaargh!!!! The 1958 PF came today but my son was still asleep so no one could sign for it. I have to pick it up at the PO tomorrow.

    Gotta love my letter carrier. He was finishing up his route and noticed my car was in the driveaway so he stopped and dropped off, after me signing for it, the package from NEN. He said it is a madhouse at the PO and he didn't want to have me wait in line to get the package.

    I LOVE the coin. Here is an image I quickly made. Remember, it is I who shot the image. Coin looks 98% red in person.
