The last few days I've been looking at Raw Morgans on EBAY, just to see if I could recognize any of the more easier to spot VAMs. It's actually quite fun.........other than that debaucle with the 1888 O VAM 4. By the way, I talked with Papal on the phone and they are in the process of getting my money back. I believe I spotted an 1888 VAM11a if anyone needs one. Here is the link, let me know if I'm right about the designation.

The attribution looks correct. The grade however...

Admittedly, I'm not good at grading this series. I was thinking 62 on this coin. The reverse does look nice though. What would you grade it.

I think those hits & digs on the cheek & chin are more pronounced than they appear.

I'm inclined to think MS61, which is why I didn't bother buying it.
