1967 Wacky Packages - PSA Graded Trades?

I have submitted some 1967 Wacky Package DIE-CUTS to PSA for grading, and should have them back soon. Is anyone else collecting this set, and if so do you have any PSA 7's or PSA 8's for trade? I'd much rather trade than eBay them..... give me a heads up (and post your trade list if possible) and I'll contact you first.... otherwise I suppose I'll ebay the doubles and turn the $$ back into raw cards...

  • Hey Paul,

I have an extra PSA 8NQ #23 MULLER BEER I'd be willing to trade for ones I need. My set is on the registry under "Mike's Wacky Packages"
I looking for 8's but would take 7's for the more difficult alts.

Awfulbits, are you the Mike who has other sets in the registry but didn't list an email address?

  • Mike,

I'm still new at collecting the '67 Wacky's... but I do recognize the Muller as being one of the tougher ones. Here's how my first PSA order turned out, as you can see I have a few doubles in PSA 8. But, I also sent in another similar sized order that I haven't gotten back yet.... so if you want, you can wait for me to post those results too and then we can work something out. You are the only one that has even hinted at the possibility of a trade so far as you can see from this thread.

Honestly, I'm totally fine collecting these with no competition. They are rare enough as it is!

My PSA 8 doubles are: Dopey Whip, Gadzooka, 6 Up, Horrid
On Ebay under PUNKER-PAUL are: Spray Nit, Breadcrust Hash, Cover Ghoul, Jail-O, Wet Fink.

Let me know what you think about the prices I posted on my auctions if you get a chance. They are loosely based on what I paid raw, actually a bit less not even including the grading... but that's when we were all bidding thinking they may be 8's (I would guess).

Mike, I am the other Mike. I wanted to try to touch base with you at some point to see if you wanted to make any trades but noticed no way to get in touch with you. I assume you prefer to stay incognito, so to speak?

    Paul,

That submission took forever to get graded. What gives???? I would have been freaking out. I actually would have some interest but everything I have to trade is from '73 - '76 - no die-cuts.

  • Yeah this was a 1960's bulk order, and they took it to the limit.... but it's better to wait than to pay more IMO.

  • I'll have to check and see what i have raw yet that hasn't been graded.

Yes your starting prices for the 7's are more than fair , I think.
