SBA Fed Wrapped Roll

Hi...I have a roll of SBA's that is in an original Federal Reserve Bank roll and boths ends of the roll are showing the reverse. No markings on the roll to indicate the date either. The printing on the roll just says 'Federal Reserve Bank' and 25 Dollars in grey print. Are there any indicators on the reverse of the coins that would point to the year? I suppose I could bust open the roll but I don't need 24 extra MS SBA's around!

As always any thoughts would be appreciated!

  • Hmmm,

No way I know of. I do actually own a roll of 1979-D SBAs. Paid waaaaaaaay too much for them at $30.

    Oh well, live and learn.

There are some obverse differences but I've not noticed any on the reverse. There
are no differences between the mints (except for the lone variety) so reverse differ-
ences wouldn't solve the problem anyway.

    I'd guess '79-P
    Tempus fugit.
