Streamlining the US Mint -> PCGS process

Would it make sense to be able to have the US Mint ship your order directly to PCGS and then if PCGS grades it less than a 70 have PCGS return it to the US Mint for you? Seems like this would make a lot of peoples lives easier.

One day, hopefully, they'll send you a 50% off-center AGE in one of these packages. Then you'll know you can trust them.

<< <i>Shoot - why not have PCGS or NGC reside at the mint grading everything the mint produces. The mint can then sell MS-70s to those who want them, and MS-65s to those who just want a cheap coin to give to their grand nephew. Prices will be on a tiered system. Just for kicks, and to improve sales, the mint will randomly ship a MS-70 for every 99 MS-69s they sell, maybe a MS-69 for every 50 MS-68s and 1 MS-70 for every 500 MS-69s they sell. If you absolutely positively have to have a MS-70, you can just buy one from the mint and bypass the middlemen.

Now that's a good idea!
Even aside from the 70 comment, people have made these types of comments in seriousness and I think that would be wrong on so many levels.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
<< <i>I'm not the trusting sort. I'm a little concerned about sending an unopened box of 10 sets of ASE to PCGS for grading. There's nothing to stop them from cherry picking and shifting some items to their more profitable customers. Not to accuse or anything...just a thought. >>
I thought of that myself...But tend to think a bit more highly of the Establishment......
<< <i>Zoins, you didn't use any smileys......you ARE joking, though, right?

I'm only half joking. I think the entire ultra modern 70 game is pretty interesting but as long as it's being played, why not make it more efficient
