How long before we see someone try to pass a fake RP Gold Eagle??

I can see someone taking a 2006 W Unc AGE , using a little polish and dremel tool on relief, dropping it in original 3 coin gold box and case with original 2006 W proof and 2006 W UNC coins. He will walk around a busy show, play dumb and wait for someone to try to steal it for say $4,000.
Sad but I can see it happening.

I think someone might try, and never be able to pull it off.

This may not be so unlikely as it might appear, nor so hard as it might seem. For other applications, one of the big problems with laser modifications is that it leaves the surface so painfully bright and new. In this case, it may be possible for a talented laser operator to make a very good quality reverse proof-literally removing about a few molecule deep layer of the surfaces-that is going to look really good. May be a lot more to it than this, but the possibilities are bothersome.image

Doesn't someone just have to create a good fake of the SEALED SHIPPING BOX?
