question on morgan submission

hi,thanks in advance for any or all who offer advice too.
i have an 84-s that is on my list of coins i will submit for grading.this 84-s is an au coin that shows signs of being a proof-like as alot of mirror still remains.it appears looking at the pcgs price guide that "proof like" designation is reserved for ms 60 and better.is this true and ifso does ngc or anacs designate lower then 60 for proof-like?sorry my camera doesn't capture coins better or i would of included a picture.thank you all

If you haven't already, I'd compare the coin you have to auctions that have already ended on eBay, Heritage, etc. That way you can see how your coin stacks up to ones PCGS graded PL or DMPL.
I don't know how the other 2 grading companies handle this. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
Good luck. Share some pics if you are able to have some made.
By the way, '84S is a tough year for those designations. Only 3 coins have been graded as PL, with 0 being DMPL.

<< <i>PCGS does not give the pl or dmpl designation to any coin below ms60. >>
It shows that PCGS has given the PL designation to 12 Morgans under the MS60 grade. The DMPL designation has never been given to a Morgan lower than MS60.
