Post a "different" picture of a coin.

I was messing around with my camera to work on focusing and the effects of light, blah, blah, blah, and this is what I came up with. It is not a great shot of the coin, but, for some reason, I think this pic is neat.

I just read a tip in Popular Science that you can shoot fish-eye pics through your digicam by holding a door peephole up to the lens. $6 at Home Depot was worth it for some experimentation. Here's a few tries with coins and one of my curious pet.

The fish eye effect doesn't really work on the coin close ups very well, but it's pretty cool for taking a pic of a whole room. 160 degree viewing angle.
