Ancient Greek coins shown on stamps

I recall seeing some world postage stamps (for some reason I don't think they were from Greece, but from somewhere in Africa?) that depicted ancient Greek coins.

Does this ring a bell? Any stamp collectors on the board?

Thanks. I just saw them recently, in an issue of Coins or World Coin News or someplace. I need to start clipping interesting articles immediately as I read them --- otherwise I forget which publication I saw them in!

I know there are others, as well as some depicting medals.

The stamps you are thinking about are from Liberia.

Go to your local library and borrow a stamp catalog. You'll find them.
