seperation of the A and M in "America" anything special

While on line I noticed that finding a 1999 or 2000 with the A M in America seperated was a uncommon find, does this also apply to other Dates? I came across a number of different dates with this type of seperation and I was just wondering. I am sure it is very common so I just wanted be sure before I roll up these coins for new rolls. Thank you.

Normal for 88 and 89 you mentioned (before editing your post), not normal for 98, 99, and 00. Find a 92P and/or D with close AM and you will score, too.

I suggest checking out the various websites that discuss these and other varieties, so you know what to look for. For example, Ken Potter has a lovely website with many pictures. Go to koinpro.com.

Just to add...the '99 Wide AM is much more difficult to find than the '98 or 2000 with the 2000 being the easiest. I have yet to find a 1999.
