I see that you are still listing them by the name of their rightful owner........

The photo is lousy, but it looks better than the ex-Farouk specimen.

Edit: Three noticable, but somewhat hidden dings on the eagle, though.

So, which one do YOU want? I'm thinking maybe #1,2 or 4. I'd have to check them out first image

Do the fields on 4 look a little weird compared to the rest?

Makes you wonder, about how many more are out there. And how bad the guy who paid $7.5 mill is thinking he got screwed.

I would assume the guy who bought that specimen is consulting his lawyer right now and is working with the US mint to keep the other ten specimens off the market. Just a guess.

One of the coins was circulated.... a pocket piece?
  • Is it bad lighting, or is it a lack luster coin?

    It looks harshly cleaned.

Does it appear that the picture of the single coin is a different coin than any in the picture of 10? Or is it lighting?

Reverse of single coin is close to #8, but coin #8 has mark where wing attaches to breast that is not on the single coin. Obverse marks on the single coin do not match up with any of the ten.
