    63.

Is the reverse rotation that pronounced or is it just the way the coin image was presented?

It's a bit of reverse rotation...

I suspect the zit showed up AFTER encapsulation. Thus I'm guessing 64.

I'm guessing it was slabbed at 65. I'd go no higher than 63 though.

Me too. I'm guessing 55 still. If the zit was present prior to encapsulation, 53.

I'm thinking the coin was messed with, maybe some Maybelline applied to it. I saw "wear" on the reverse, which you see is all over the place. Maybe it turned colors after slabbing, and that would also have caused the pimple if there was some moisture under it? That's the best guess I can make without seeing it in hand.

What gets me the most is the strike... There is no WAY a 1919 should be in a 66 holder with that kind of strike..

actually im not surprised ,as i said this particular coin had clean fields ,by the way you can get a 66 with just an ok strike as long as the coin has luster and the clean fields. by the way im in agreement with shamika that the sit happenend after being holdered.

Just a weak strike.............I wouldn't have thought it would have gone 66. With the fields as they are, I was sure it was a 65.
