Does anyone have QDB's (and other's) testimony before that coinage committee in Congress?
I read in CW that QDB and a host of others gave some testimony before a Congressional committee about changes in coinage, the "cost" of making the cent, the new coin rarities act, etc. The article was not very clear on the date of the testimony, but I assume that it has happened already. Does anyone have a link to the transcript? I guess I can do a search on Westlaw, but if someone had it already, it would be easier. I also think that Beth D. (the editor of CW) testified as well, and if her editorials are any indication, I am sure she had some off-the-wall things to say. Maybe ANR should link the transcript on their website?

and Smithsonian is also very interesting reading........
The Acting Director of the Mint told me before the hearings
started that the Mint would be lifting the 10-coin order
limit for the Proof Buffalos in a week or so - and they did,
in less than a week!
It was an interesting experience, and very educational.......

She did a good job if her presentation tracked her written submission.
advance of speaking in the chamber to the House Committee,
and provide 100 copies of each speaker, to the press room!
Your oral testimony can only be 5 minutes ( a summary of written
testimony), but the interesting part is the Question & Answer
period after each speaker........
